Navigating Holidays: Family, Food & Self-Care
This is the week of the Thanksgiving holiday in the US. Last week I held a webinar on Optimizing Your Food Lifestyle during the Holidays. Some questions came in on navigating holidays with family, food & self-care. They are relevant to the struggles we all go through, so I want to address them here.

Here are the questions. We’ll center our healing meditation around these topics:
1. Sometimes I do great with my food and self-care, then sometimes I go totally off. How can I keep from going off?
2. My eating habits are always a reflection of what’s going on with me. How can I keep my eating under control when I’m not feeling in control on the inside?
3. With family that are very meat and alcohol centric, and I struggle to maintain my habits. I end up feeling sick and emotionally exhausted. How can I make peace with my family? With my body and mind?
4. I’ll be alone during the holiday. I’m afraid I’ll end up getting bored and lonely, and then I’ll binge eat. What can I do to maintain control?
