What Kind of Leader Is Your Mind? Does it Rule or Serve?

A King Ruler is one who commands and rules over the people. A Servant Leader is one who serves the people and acts in the highest good for all. In your kingdom or queendom, your body temple, your mind is typically the leader. What kind of leader is your mind?

The mind is very strong. One of its roles is to remember events of the past and use those experiences to prepare you for a yet unknown future. It can become so vigilant in its beliefs and adamant about what it wants you to do that it misses the reality of the present moment.

In other words, sometimes your mind is so busy protecting you from your past that it doesn’t allow you to receive the opportunities of the present – or the future. It RULES you.

Another role of the mind is to be a witness to your heart and body and guide you to what you need in the moment. The heart and body respond automatically to situations in front of you. Your heart expands or contracts, your gut instinct kicks in, your nervous system responds. I just learned this week that your fascia reacts even before the messages get to your nervous system.

The body and the heart are both incredible messengers! It’s true, they also store information from the past, and they can be influenced by that information. However, what if your mind could be so tuned in to your heart and body that it takes their information and your sensory information, and then determines how to SERVE your highest needs?
