Stop eating before you feel full.
Your stomach needs space for its own digestive juices, plus space to churn its contents. If you eat until you feel full, your stomach is overfilled. Eat until your stomach is 1/3 full of food. The average stomach holds 2.1 pints, so 1/3 is about 1.4 cups (of well-chewed food).
Your body needs proper digestive care for proper functioning. If you want it to take care of you, you need to care for it. Your body needs a relaxed environment to receive the nourishment you are giving it. Give yourself the time and attention. You are worth it!
