Last week, we held a free class on Healing your Relationship with Food, Your Body and God. I’m always in awe of just how many people struggle with food, body image and health issues, though I’m not surprised. I’ve been there myself, and I know how challenging it can be!
400 people signed up for the webinar. It was so inspiring to see so many people ready to heal and to take charge of their health and their lives! And it’s an honor to be in a position to help.
Here are a few things people took away from the webinar:
- An awareness of how the physical body condition, food choices and emotions all cycle together to affect each other.
- An understanding of the many ways food has been integrated into our beliefs and patterns as a tool for managing emotions.
- The many ways in which your body speaks to you of what it really needs.
- Simple eating habits that work with your body’s innate wisdom to bring you better health.
- Maybe most notable – How your relationship with food and your body can lead you to heal and deepen your relationship with your deepest inner truths and your connection to Source.
True health is realized only when you bring your relationship with food and your body into alignment with your relationship with your deepest inner truths and your connection to Source.
Anything short of this alignment is a band-aid.
Here’s why:
I had the honor to work with a 6-year-old girl a few years ago who remembered being in the womb and remembered what it was like before she came here – before she was born into this material world. Her words say it all!
She said when you are in the womb, you get to see everything. They show you a movie of your whole life before you come here. When her mom asked if she remembers the movie, her response was priceless:
“No mom! That would be like going on a treasure hunt when you already know the treasure!”
This treasure hunt is your journey back to love! Not when you die, but now, here, in your physical body in this material world.
Your struggles here serve as guideposts for your journey back to love. Your body is your vehicle, which speaks to you through many signals and dashboard lights. Each of these signals gives you information to help you find your way home.
Your struggles with food and your body give you signals to find your way back to love.
Putting forceful constraints on yourself in order to bring about health is an oxymoron. It may be necessary for a while, but when you understand the journey you are on and you know the secrets to navigating that journey, it becomes a treasure hunt full of secrets and wonder that are yours to discover – the treasures of love that live in your heart.
Why would you stop with anything less?
Here’s wishing you a most joyful day on your treasure hunt!
Live and Love Joyfully!
