Winter Solstice Reiki Journey: Whole Body Listening

Yesterday was our Winter Solstice, and today, our friend Ruha Cathy Delwiche will be leading us on a Holy Fire Karuna Reiki healing journey called “Whole Body Listening.”

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall – birth, growth, fading, death – the Wheel turns, on and on. Ideas are born, projects are begun, plans fail, and loved ones die. We fall in love, new friends are made, disappointment is met, happiness and joy dances aside hardship and regret. As the Wheel turns, we connect the inner cycle with the outer world and see we are all connected: we are all One.

For those of us in the Northern hemisphere, the Great Wheel of the Year has stopped once again, ever so briefly, on the Winter Solstice, Saturday, December 21, 2024. This is the time of darkness – we will experience the shortest period of daylight and the longest period of darkness. This is a time of release and transformation – we use the available energies to release old habits, negative thought forms, and limiting beliefs.

And just as the darkness must give way and change into the Light, we too can be ‘reborn’ into the new Light and experience the rebirth of our Soul as the Great Wheel turns. We replace outdated ideas with new patterns of feelings, new ways of being – seeds carefully planted to manifest themselves at the proper time.

To assist with clearing the way for ‘new ways of being’, we will be taking a Reiki Journey to experience “Whole Body Listening”. During this journey, we will be listening in on our inner world and expanding our awareness of the interplay of our human and divine qualities. Through stillness and focused awareness, we rest in our physical bodies knowing our outer world experience reflects the inner world we have created, and we choose peace.

Come prepared for some deep relaxation – no journaling this time ;>) Since we will be listening to our inner selves, being in a quiet place without distraction would be helpful but not required. Settle in and allow the Great Wheel to guide you and usher in the Light!
