We live in a world where mistakes are inevitable, and sometimes the stakes are pretty high. We hurt each other. We hurt ourselves. We cover the pain in our hearts with hardened armor. It’s a natural means of survival.
Those we love the most, those we care about the most – the ones we’ve traveled with and grown with – these are the ones who share our battle scars. Even with the ones we’ve written off as hopeless – the love still remains beneath the scars.

The poet Rumi wrote:
“Your path is not to seek for love,
but merely to seek and find all the barriers
you have built against it.”
When you seek and find those barriers, you can release them completely and allow the love you are meant to live to flow freely through your heart and your life.
