The Courage to BE YOU

Hanukkah has passed, it’s Christmas eve, and we’re only 1 week away from 2018.

How was your 2017? Was it everything you had hoped it would be? Was it more? Are you still struggling with the same challenges you faced coming into this year?

A perception of ending one year and beginning another is helpful, because it defines a time frame upon which we can reflect and evaluate. It’s a time we can realign with purpose and vision and set new goals.

However, just like with birthdays, we’re only one day older than yesterday and one day younger than tomorrow.

The fact is every day matters — who you are being, how you are managing yourself and your life, how you are relating to your circumstances and your loved one. It’s the quality of each and every day that makes a year successful. It’s who you are that brings love and joy into your life.

Are you still saying, “I’ll have the life/love/joy I want as soon as I heal/fix/complete…”?

OR

Are you being everything you want to be? Are you living true to yourself? Are you loving with all your heart?

There will always be something to fix. As long as you are in physical form, you are presented with challenges — opportunities to know yourself more completely and realign with the truth of your existence.

The question is “Who are you being now?”
