Seeing through the Heart
Some of what we see in this world invokes beauty, others not so much. Yet, if everything is from One Source of Unconditional Love, how can we see that Truth in everything? When we learn to see through the Eye of the Heart.

Today, I want to share a passage from my teacher’s first book – still my favorite book – Music of the Soul, by Shaykh Muhammad Sa’id al-Jamal ar-Rafa’i ash-Shadhuli. The passage is about seeing through the eye of the heart and understanding with the hearing of God.
In this short passage he talks about how to clean the seeing and the hearing and to empty yourself of everything but the presence of God.
We won’t master this in an hour. It’s a life’s journey and the deep heart’s desire for freedom from the constrictions of the material world. But today, we will spend time in reflection, meditation and healing to cleanse and increase proximity to the Presence of Source within.
