What is it that keeps us from releasing the veils that keep our light from shining? Human beings were given freewill. In order to exercise freewill, we have to forget our connection with that all that is that is so much greater than what we are. We are one with that all that is, but we forget that as we get squeezed into this bodysuit of consciousness that we live in. We’ve squeezed ourselves into this constrictive body and forget that we are one with that all that is and that we are so expansive and so bright. Yet the consciousness is so much bigger. Human beings exist in the atmosphere of this planet earth. We know what we know based on what we’re able to reach and experience from here. What do we know of what’s outside of our ocean? Discover how you can explore beyond the atmosphere of planet earth and into the greater depths of the universe while still living in an ocean.

Releasing The Veils That Keep Our Light From Shining

We’re going to talk about releasing the veils that keep your light from shining. We can take this from the microcosm to the macrocosm. What is it that keeps the veils from shining inside of us and on a macrocosm level? What is it that keeps the veils from shining in the mass consciousness of our world and for our planet? First let’s come into our healing circle. Let’s come together sitting in our circles side by side, shoulder to shoulder, knee to knee, elbow to elbow. Take a nice full and gentle breath together. As I exhale, let’s bring the heart center, the funnel of energy at the front of the chest. Let’s bring the heart center to face directly into the center of our circle. Let’s bring our hearts together as one in the center of our circle and together let’s call on our Source.

You can use whatever name is most comfortable for you. We call on the name of the One most merciful, ever compassionate, calling on our Source, calling on that essence of divine light, calling on that essence of unconditional love, calling on that essence of eternal compassion. Imagine this pillar of light streaming into the center of our circle. This pillar of light that is made of and emanating this high vibration of divine light, of unconditional love and of eternal compassion. Eternal means not dependent on time and space. No beginning, no end. It is in existence that is the soup we swim in. It’s the ocean we live in. When we think of the fish living in the ocean and we think of ourselves living in this broader planet, in this atmosphere of this planet.

Thinking of the microcosm and the macrocosm sometimes. That’s why I like love this poem from Hafiz so much that I shared. When I think of the microcosm and the macrocosm, sometimes I ponder things that perhaps might not have any meaning to anyone else. Human beings were given free will and in order to exercise free will, we have to forget our connection with the all that is. That is so much greater than what we are. It’s so much more expansive, not than what we are, because we are that.

We are that expansiveness. We are one with that all that is. We forget that and so as we get squeezed into this consciousness of this bodysuit that we live in. We’re squeezing ourselves into this constrictive body to forget that we are one with that all that is and that we are so expansive and so bright. Yet the consciousness is so much bigger. When you think of a fish, think of a fish that lives in the ocean, especially one that lives in the depths of the ocean. They see things we don’t see at our level on planet Earth unless we go into the deep scuba diving.

There’s a lot that’s known to them that’s not known to us and I wonder, do they know that there is a world beyond their ocean? What do they know with their consciousness of the world that is beyond their ocean? I don’t know the answer to that but I wonder that because I do believe that they have an expanded consciousness. They don’t have the free will that we have. I could be wrong about that too. I think of the human beings, we exist in the atmosphere of this planet earth. We know what we know based on what we’re able to reach and experience from here. What do we know of what’s outside of our ocean? Science has made it possible for us to explore beyond the atmosphere of the planet Earth and into greater depths of the universe but still we live in an ocean. What do we know of what’s beyond the ocean? It’s something to ponder. Something to remind us that there is much more.

In one sense, in our human ego sense, we are these small little particles, drops in the ocean and then in the larger sense, yet the drop contains the knowledge of the entire ocean. That’s another poem. The poem by the poet Rumi that says, “You’re not a drop in the ocean. You’re the ocean in a drop.” Let’s go back to that pillar of light, that divine light, unconditional love, eternal compassion. The light, the love, the compassion that exist, that make up the soup we swim in, the atmosphere we live in.

Let’s focus and turn our hearts, turn our faces, our bodies, and all of our senses, perceptions and all of ourselves to face into this pillar of light. Focus your breath. You can start with your heart center and just open up your entire being and breathe in this vibration of divine light, unconditional love and eternal compassion. Breathe this in and as you exhale, relax, release and soften. Let all of your heart space and your core, become soft and release any of the constrictions.

Release Any Of The Constrictions

Release those things that we hold onto that block the flow of that light. As you inhale, draw in this vibration of divine light, unconditional love, eternal compassion. As you exhale, relax, release and soften. Letting the waves of light and the flow of this life force energy, just flow in and out through your heart center, cleansing away the blocks, the barriers that keep you from being fully in the flow of divine love. Inhale, draw in this vibration, divine light, unconditional love, eternal compassion. Breathing it deep into your heart center.

As you exhale again, relax, release. Let all of your heart space be soft and just receive. Let this vibration, this stream of divine light, unconditional love and eternal compassion stream into all of your heart space pouring into this funnel. Imagine this funnel just tipping up. Let your chest open, your shoulders relax and imagine this funnel in the front of your chest tipping up slightly and let this stream of divine light, unconditional love and eternal compassion stream into this heart center. With your breath, take it in as deep as you can into your heart space.

Let Your Conscious Body Merge With Your Physical Space

As you exhale, relax, release and soften and let this stream of light and love and compassion to stream into the core of your body, filling all of your core with this high vibration of divine light, unconditional love and eternal compassion. Breathe in. I want to invite your conscious body drop into your physical space. Let your energy body come all the way in and just take a seat into your seat. Let your conscious body fully join in and merge with your physical space. Feel yourself go clunk into your own pelvic girdle, into your own hips.

Feel your energy moving all the way through your hips, through your thighs, through your knees, your calves, your shins, your ankles, your feet, your toes, and all the way through the soles of your feet and into the earth. As you inhale, inhaling into your heart center, open your shoulders, your chest. As you exhale, feel your energy move out through your shoulders, through your arms, your elbows, your forearms, your wrists, your hands, your fingers and all the way through the palms of your hands.

Circle your shoulders. Let your arms relax. As you inhale, draw in this essence of divine light, unconditional love and eternal compassion, deep into your heart space. As you exhale, feel this light moving up through your neck and from your heart through your neck and through your head and your face, even your ears and all the way up through the top of your head. Connecting you in with the higher realms. This light energy moving all the way through the core of your body from the upper realms, to the top of your head along this pillar of light that is at the core of your physical body.

This life force energy moving all the way through your body, through your heart, through your diaphragm, through your belly, through your base, and all the way into the earth. You are that place where these divine lights of the heavens merge in with this incredible wisdom of the earth and all of the elements of the earth that you’re made from, that we’re all made from.

Marriage Of The Divine Lights With Wisdom

There’s a beautiful integration, a beautiful marriage made at this place. Continue breathing this in. Breathe in this essence, divine light, unconditional love, eternal compassion, and all of the wisdom of the earth and spirit and witness as it comes together in your body. Witness the merging, witness the marriage, the wisdom of the Earth and the heavens and all of the intelligence of this. What makes up your consciousness, your knowledge, your knowing. Continue breathing this in and allowing your body to really absorb on a conscious level, bringing in the subconscious and the conscious level, bringing this absorption of this wisdom and this light into every cell of your body.

I want to read the poem from the Sufi poet Hafiz, he says, “You are the sun in drag, you are God hiding from yourself. Remove all the “mine” that is the veil. Why ever worry about anything? Listen to what your friend, Hafiz, knows for certain. The appearance of this world is the Magi’s brilliant trick, though its affairs are nothing into nothing. You are a divine elephant with amnesia trying to live in an ant hole. Sweetheart oh sweetheart, you are God in drag.” Let that absorb into your cells. Let that flow through your ears, through your brain and into your nervous system and let that drop into the cells of your body, to your cellular consciousness. Breathe into your heart and listen with the ear of your heart.

Tune into your body and into your mind, whatever calls to you, because everybody processes information in a different way. Share on X

As you take this in, notice if there’s anything that comes up in resistance or in questioning or that but. What are the buts? What are the mines? What is it when you say, “But I can’t let go of this because this is mine?” or “I identify with this. This is mine.” What are the attachments that you hold onto that keep you in the ant hole, that keep you attached to the material world and the materialism of the world? What are the attachments that keep you from allowing your being to expand into greater consciousness, into greater possibilities, into the brilliant shining sun that you are?

Let’s take a minute and tune into your heart. Tune into your body. Tune into your mind, whatever calls to you because everybody processes information in a different way. Different combinations of the messaging systems that come through our physical energy body that give us information about how we’re doing in connection to our divine selves.

Ask Within Yourself

Whatever is speaking to you in this moment, just ask. Ask to the cacophony of voices and perceptions within yourself. What are the mines? What are the attachments? What are the beliefs that you’re holding onto that are keeping you small? Keeping your sun from shining? Invite those, call those out. You can cup your hands like a bowl in front of your heart and call these out into your hands, into the bowl, the front of your heart. Invite them, these energies, these beliefs, these thoughts into your hands and just let them energetically move from your physical body, from your energy body, from your mental body, your thoughts.

Just place them into your hands, holding your hands out in front of your heart, and again turning to this pillar of divine light, unconditional love and eternal compassion that fills the center of our circle. Let’s just place these mines, these attachments, these thoughts. Let’s release them. You can say calling to the one speaking directly to the one to your source with your help and the help of all of your angels of healing, of your profits, of your guides, of your helpers.

Release All The Veils

I release all of these veils and I give them back to you. Return them to you. Please release them from my body, return them to their rightful place, release them into this ocean of divine light, unconditional love and eternal compassion that is streaming into the center of our circle. Place them there. Just breathe and asking again from your source to fill all of the space inside of you with the essence of pure divine light and all of the wisdom, the truth and the love that is carried within this pure divine light. Allow that to fill all of your body, all of your energy body, your physical body, your mental body, your emotional body. Let all of this be filled with this pure vibration of divine light spilling up all of the space from where these veils are being released.

Releasing the veils and filling with divine truth. Breathing in this essence of divine light, unconditional love, eternal compassion and divine truth. The divine truth and wisdom. Letting this fill all of your being as these veils are released and just witness the moving. If you feel the sensations in your body, of your tissues wanting to move, you feel things have tightening or releasing, just breathe into that space. Breathe this light, love and compassion into that space. Let that move.

As you exhale, just release. Let again the veils move into this stream of light at the center of the circle. Let the space inside your body and your energy field just be soft and as it releases, let it absorb this essence of divine light, unconditional love, eternal compassion. The infinite wisdom, knowledge and truth of the divine essence. In any of these, as Hafiz knows for certain, appearances of the Magi’s brilliant trick.

Let Your Breath Expand

Any of those things that we hold as true that aren’t necessarily true, that are keeping us stuck, keeping us playing small, keeping us from shining our light, keeping us in constriction, offer those up. Any that are not serving you or may be some you don’t even know exist but they’re not serving you in any way and it won’t hurt to give them up. Let’s offer those again into the center of our circle. The next layer that’s ready to go. Offer those into the center of the circle. Calling on Source, please fill each and every one of us with your light, your love, your compassion, your wisdom, your truth. As you noticed, constrictions, just breathe into that space. Breathe this essence of light, love and compassion. Let your breath expand the place that feels constricted and let it be filled, washed, cleansed, nurtured with the essence of divine light.

With the essence of unconditional love, sometimes this stirs up those places inside of us that feel like we’re not worthy of love and we can’t receive love into to this place. We can’t accept this part of ourselves, those tight, constricted places that we just don’t want to open because we don’t want to see them even within ourselves. This too is a place that is worthy of love and very much in need of love and the love is unconditional. It is the existence of love and it is here for each and every one of us and especially those places that feel like they don’t deserve it. Allow this place to receive that essence of unconditional love. That’s part of the Magi’s brilliant trick is that we’re here to learn that regardless of the conditions that we place on ourselves, regardless of what we’ve done or not done, been or not been, said or not said, that the love is still there.

You’re never separate from the love. You can release those blocks and barriers and allow that love to flow into even the tightest places in yourself. They can be held. They can be contained. They can be supported by this essence of divine love, unconditional love. In fact, they are held, supported, loved and contained just waiting for this place to let the guard down and to relax and to say yes to the love.

If there’s a place in you now that’s held tight, know that it’s held, loved and supported by this vibration of unconditional love, this ocean of unconditional love. Invite it to rest into that support, to relax, to know that it’s loved and held no matter what. When it’s ready, you can let that guard down. You can allow that guard, that shell to be dissolved into this ocean, to be purified, cleansed and to receive the love, to become one with the love. This is letting go of the mine and allowing yourself to flow into the love.

Flow Into The Love

As you allow yourself to flow into the love, just know that within every block, every barrier, every constriction is a place deep inside that is yearning to return to the love that it knows and has known all along. Let that place at the core of that constriction. Let it receive this love. Let it receive this light, this compassion, and let it drink from this stream of this life force energy, this divine light, unconditional love and eternal compassion. There is no limit to this supply. Let it be filled, let it be restored, let it be reminded of the truth of what it is and has always been. This is true for you, for every part of you, for your body, mind, heart, soul, spirit. You are the sun in drag. Let yourself be filled with this light. Let your light shine brilliantly.

I’ll say a prayer that’s called the Light Prayer. Say it in English. Let yourself, if you so choose, say it with me. We’ll say one line at a time and you can repeat it. Turn your heart again too. Call on your Source from the depths of your heart. Call on your source and imagine yourself turned face-to-face, heart-to-heart, eye-to-eye. All of your senses and perceptions in the horror, the energy at the front of your belly too, turning all of you to face directly to your source and call out to your source and ask directly.

My beloved, please fill me with your divine light, your pure light. Please fill all of my body, every cell of every part of my body with your light. Breathe that in. Please fill all of my heart, all the way to the depths of my heart with your light. Breathe that in. Please fill all of my conscious and subconscious mind with your light in. Breathe that in and let it wash through you. Please fill all of my soul, this huge expansive soul with your light. Breathe that in.

Please fill all the core of my spirit with your light. Breathe that into your core. Please fill all of my knowing, all of my knowledge, all of my gnosis with your light. Take a full breath, breathing that in. Let all of your being say yes, speaking directly to your source. Please place your light in front of me. Please place your light behind me. Please place your light to my left side. Please place your light to my right side. Please place your light beneath me. Please place your light above me.

My beloved, make me to be all light. Breathe into your core. Let your breath, fan the flame of this light and feel this light inside of the core of your body shining bright, becoming brighter, stronger, clearer, cleaner, purer and stronger. Let this be a pillar of strength inside of you that becomes an unwavering faith and knowing of your existence as a divine light in body, in physical form. A light that is here to shine, a light that is here to take up space, a light that is here to love and to serve in whatever unique way it’s laid out for you.

You Are Meant To Shine

You are here. You are meant to shine, sweetheart oh sweetheart, you are God in drag. Let your energy body, your conscious body really anchor into your physical space. Let’s take a moment again directly to source and let the heart bow in gratitude, in reverence. If there’s anything else on your heart, if you are wanting guidance on how you’re to serve in this world and what you’re to do, what you’re to be. Let your heart bow in reverence and gratitude and ask for whatever else your heart is needing. If there’s a prayer on your heart for yourself, for your loved ones, for the world, for the planet, let yourself offer that at this time as well. Offering it directly into the center of our circle, but speaking directly to your source from your heart.

We make a prayer for all of the prayers to be answered, to be heard, for each and every one of us to be guided, to act, to serve. To be in whatever way is uniquely asked of us, destined for us, laid out for us. Give us the strength, the light, a courage, the clarity and the creativity. The life force to be, to do, to have, to serve in whatever way is most fitting for this time and this space that we’re in. We ask with love, with reverence, with gratitude, and we say, yes. With your help, your guidance and your support, anything is possible. Take a minute, wiggle your toes and stretch out your feet. Feel your connection with the bottoms of your feet and feel yourself fully present in your body, connected to the earth. Stretch out your arms, your hands, your fingers, your wrists, letting this light that you are extend into all of your extremities, take up all of the space that you are in.
