Releasing Projections around Success so You Can Live Your Ideal Life

Marianne Williamson said, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us.”

Success can feel scary. Letting our light shine can feel unsafe. But why?

There are several reasons. Here’s two of them:

First, almost all of us have had times, especially as children, when we got into trouble for being the bright shining balls of energy that children are born to be. We are programmed to hide ourselves and not be special in order to keep ourselves safe. This program follows us into adulthood.

Second, another reason as adults we can hold ourselves back from fully stepping into the life we are meant to live. Pictures and Projections. To fully live your intended life is called “Success.” When you think of Success, what words come to mind?

Money? Notoriety? Fame? Importance? Being the boss?

What ideas do you associate with people who have success? In the spotlight? No privacy? Working long hours? Held responsible for the problems? Criticism? Greed? Taking advantage of those less fortunate?

You might not even consciously think of your personal success as fame and fortune. However, our subconscious minds make associations that keep us from following through on the ideals of the conscious mind.

The truth is, your version of Success might not look anything like the pictures society projects on the screens. But there is a life designed just for you that will feel like Success. It’s the life that will bring your heart the most fulfillment. And it might not look anything like what your subconscious mind has associated with Success.

The good news is, you can unravel the threads that tie your subconscious mind to the pictures and projections society has painted of Success, and align with what Success is for you – the ideal life design that will bring you joy, contentment and fulfillment.
