Prayers for those affected by Hurricane Dorian & Amazon fires

This past week, Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahamas as a Cat 5, claiming the lives of 43 people and leaving 70,000 people homeless.

Fires burning in the Amazon continue to threaten the lives and homes of indigenous tribes who have been defenders of this precious land against deforestation for logging, gold mining, farming and cattle ranching.

In today’s Prayer & Healing Circle as we offer prayers for those who have been affected by these recent disasters, natural and human-made. We also offer prayers for our planet and all that affects the conditions that increase severity and frequency of storms, flooding, fires and drought.
