Prayers for the Planet: Overpopulation, Sustainability, Provision

Is overpopulation a cause of the climate crisis? Do we need to reduce our population in order to sustain life here? What will happen as we transition into an era of Peace?

This week, we continue with question #6 of the series: The Answer is Love: Questions to Explore as We Transition into an Era of Peace.

The question is: “Is the planet over-populated? Do we need to reduce our population in order to sustain life here?”

In this Meditation & Healing Circle, we explore:

Is the world over-populated? Is there enough to sustain all living creatures?
How can we increase trust in provision and sufficiency?
How can we prepare for the transition into the Era of Peace?

We offer prayers for healing and provision on a global scale, for homeostasis of the global body. We call on the Divine Attribute of Provision, ar-Razzaq, to help us receive the provision in the ways it is needed to support our transition into the Era of Peace. Ar-Razzaq is the One Who looks after all beings, the Provider, the Nurturer.

Is the planet over-populated? Do we need to reduce our population in order to sustain life here?

I created this planet to sustain the life of all who are born into this realm. There is more than enough. You have enough. The question is in how you use what you have.

The human species is incredibly wasteful, plus hoarding and greed. Amassing wealth on one side, more than one can possibly use, and spending on luxury items that create destruction of the planet unnecessarily, while on the other side millions struggle to meet basic financial needs for shelter, food, and clothing. They have no control over what resources are made available to them. This is unsustainable and inhumane.

Treat all people fairly. Respect their value and their needs to have sufficiency. The wealthy cannot continue to hoard and deprive those who work in and support the operations from which they amass their wealth.

Living wages, humanitarian conditions, fairness for all who contribute. And for those who cannot contribute, the injured or ill or those fallen on hard times, this is your opportunity to be love, to share with them, to give the mercy, and be in gratitude. It is not yours to hoard and not within your rights to control. I can take it away in any moment, shuffle the deck.

You are all part of My body. What you do to others within this body, you do to all of us – the whole of my body.

Disease will continue. The new family structure will help to distribute caring for children who need homes. Some of this will help right-size the population.

Most importantly, I will not live in sickness. My body will seek homeostasis to right itself and bring healing and live in flow of its natural existence. Diseased parts will be healed or dismissed. So right yourself now. Return to love now. The answer is love. Stop the greed. What you do to one, you do to all and to me. And to my body and to your body. And to love.
