As we enter into 2020, I had intended to begin our Prayer & Healing Circle with a focus on our visions for Conscious Living in the new year and decade.
However, this first week of the year 2020 has come in with a roar, and it’s not pretty. We need to hit the ground running, or in this case praying. With tensions escalating in Iran, we need all prayer and peace warriors on deck doing our work.
We need to bring our energy together to help curb mounting fears, alleviate grief, make repentance for the mistakes of our fellow human beings, and enfold the earth with blankets of peace.
Additionally, this morning I was speaking with a friend and colleague from Australia about the massive fires there. The scope is unbelievable. People are in shock and grief. They’ve lost over half a million animals, some possibly gone extinct.
We need to include Australia in our prayers today too.
I hope you’ll formulate and hold a vision for Conscious Living as we bring our hearts and energies together today. We’ll make time for sharing our visions later, God willing.

- Al-Hafiz, Protection and Preservation
