Opening to the Flow of Life’s Blessings

Sometimes it seems like we humans are running around in a shower trying to not get wet, all the while praying for rain. We feel lack, we want, we need, we yearn, we seek… and that which we truly seek is closer than we realize.

The poet Rumi said:

“What you seek is seeking you.”

In last week’s Prayer & Healing Circle, we tapped into our hearts and made intentions for the kind of world we want to live in. We aligned our energies, bodies, hearts, souls and potential actions with the yearning in the heart – to align with and be the change we wish to see in the world.

This week we call forth the yearning in the heart, we recall our intentions (or be with what presents itself in the moment) and open our hearts to receive the flow of blessings that are waiting at the heart’s door.

We stop the running around in the shower and open the pores of our sponge-like bodies to drink in the flow of life’s blessings and receive what the yearning in our hearts has been calling us to be.

“What you seek is seeking you.”

We pause, we open, we turn to the flowing blessings, we receive.

What is the Divine calling you to receive at this time? What wants to manifest through your presence?

In today’s Prayer & Healing Circle, we come together to pause and feel the heart’s yearning. We call together all the parts of our inner selves to turn to the flow of blessings, to That Which is seeking to flow through us, we open our hearts and receive.
