Kindness: Bringing Heaven to Earth

How can we make the world a place we can feel safe to live in? What can we do when the world around us seems to be in turmoil? How can we bring a little more heaven onto earth?

I watched a screening the movie, A Prayer for Compassion, with a group of Climate Healers and Animal Advocates last night, including the film’s creator/producer Thomas Wade Jackson. We had a beautiful discussion following the film. (NOTE: If you’d like to be involved in one of these, let me know.)

One of my favorite parts of the movie is an interview Thomas does with Rabbi Dr. Shmuly Yanklowitz, Ph.D.

Every being in this world is given existence, life, consciousness by the Breath of Source. We have the opportunity to honor Source by how we see and treat each creature on this earth in any moment. We have the opportunity to bring more heaven to earth.

We have existence because of the Breath of Source within us. This is what gives life and consciousness to our physicality. At the core, we are pure love, compassion and mercy.

When we live aligned with our pure existence, we feel that. When we are not aligned, we feel that.
