I realize it’s been a while since we connected, and I want you to know I’ve got some really juicy things cooking for you. (good for you even if you eat a raw food diet ☺)
For today, I want to share my latest article on “Healing Your Relationship with Food, Your Body and God.”
Do you have a love-hate relationship with food? or your body?
Statistics show that over 60% of New Year’s resolutions include fitness and weight loss goals. They also show that by February, 1 in 3 of us have already given up on those goals, even though most of us have made that same resolution 4 times before.
Can you relate?
Why is getting to the ideal weight and fitness levels so hard? Food is just a means of sustenance and fuel for the physical body, right?
God’s perfect plan – create a beautiful planet that contains everything needed for survival and vibrant health, then place these beings called humans on this perfect planet and … what happens?
We come into this world knowing the truth of who we are – spiritual beings made of love, contained in love, completely connected to all that is. And we are given free will.
Ahhh… that’s the tricky part – in order to exercise free will, we have to forget our complete immersion in unconditional love.
From the moment the umbilical cord is cut, we begin to forget who we are, and we begin seeking sustenance from outside ourselves. From that day forward, our human selves begin weaving a web between subsistence in the unconditional love of Source and dependence on the material world and loved ones for our basic survival.
