Healing from Humiliation & Shame
There are parts of ourselves we innately hide – the parts that have been humiliated and shamed. Healing from humiliation is a powerful pathway to transformation and freedom.
The nature of the energies of humiliation and shame is to hide. We shove them down in an attempt to forget them. Yet, they covertly direct our paths to avoid repeating a humiliating shaming experience, while also avoiding being seen and heard even when we have something vitally important to express.

These parts of us need Light and Love to be healed. The Light illuminates truth, which illuminates the underlying need of the heart and soul. The Love fills the need and heals at the deepest layers of your being. The Love restores you to the truth of who you are created to be.
This is the focus of this week’s Meditation & Healing Circle. We continue with the upcoming book, The Answer Is Love: Questions to Explore as we Transition into an Era of Peace. This is the question for today is “How can I recover from humiliation and shame?”

How can I recover from humiliation and shame?
Beloved, I know your heart better than you know yourself. I know your pain, and I know what is under that, and under that, all the way to the core of your essence. You are a being of light spawned from My One Light and breathed into this fluid existence by My divine orchestration within My divine plan.
I feel you in your pain and I am with you here. Do not hide from Me, not your pain nor your mistakes nor your light. You are My truth. I see you and know you. Come to Me. Call to Me. Run to Me. Allow My light to gaze upon your heart, to wash away the shadows and illuminate the truth within you. Feel My love and forgiveness, My grace and acceptance, calling you home to your true self, meeting you there in your light, showering you in love.
Do not hide. Do not retreat. Do not give up. Be humble but strong. Own your light and power without arrogance. Not because it makes you special, not better or worse than anyone, but just because it is what is, because it is what I created you to be. It is the pure fundamental element of creation – light, love, and compassion. It is Me. It is you. It is Us.
Know yourself to know the truth of the love that is the fundamental element of all of creation. Return to love. Be love. The answer is love.
Let Me heal and restore your heart. You cannot wait for someone else to forgive you before you forgive yourself and return to your pathway. They may or may not forgive or forget. Do not let this stop you indefinitely. Do not wait for permission. Receive from within yourself and be restored. Your healing is between you and Me and no one else has any control, influence, or anything to say about it unless you allow them. Do not allow them. Be with Me.
Heal your heart. Restore your light. Be love. Live in love. The answer is love. Another person’s shameful actions do not make you shameful. The shame is theirs. Leave it for them, to them. Their shame is between them and Me and their decision of what to do with it. It is not yours. Give it to them. Put it down. Let it go. Return to love. Be you and allow My light to shine through you, without embarrassment, apology, or force. You are loved unconditionally. No incidents or conditions can change that. I am sorry for your pain. Please forgive Me. I love you. Thank you.
May you find the truth at the depth of your heart and return to the truth of your divine essence. May you realize the freedom to be all you are created to be.
