Fast periodically.
One meal can take up to 72 hours to make its way through your digestive system. They work hard long after you enjoy your bounty. Even they need a rest. On a daily basis, give at least 12 hours with no intake – like 7pm to 7am, or 12 hours back from your breakfast time. Occasionally take a day off, or have a day of pure raw fruits & veggies or fresh juice or homemade smoothies.
Your body needs proper digestive care for proper functioning. If you want it to take care of you, you need to care for it. Your body needs a relaxed environment to receive the nourishment you are giving it. Give yourself the time and attention. You are worth it!
