Start out sleeping on your right side.
Foods can take up to 8 hours to pass through your stomach. Most likely your stomach is still working when you lie down for sleep. The stomach empties food into your duodenum, toward your right side. Start out sleeping on your right side so it doesn’t have to fight gravity to release its contents.
Your body needs proper digestive care for proper functioning. If you want it to take care of you, you need to care for it. Your body needs a relaxed environment to receive the nourishment you are giving it. Give yourself the time and attention. You are worth it!
