Clearing the Clouds of Disapproval

That disapproving parent or sibling or spouse or teacher or boss or child – after enough of trying to please, your nervous system becomes poised for the attack. You know as soon as you come into their view, they are going to find something wrong with you – and they’ll let you know it.

The repetitive experiences create a cloud that follows you and darkens your pathway. You are waiting for the storm, carrying the umbrella, wearing the raincoat, hip waders, goggles, snorkel, and the shield.

It’s confining – impossible to freely express yourself, to be seen, heard, valued, understood.

And you deserve to be free, to be seen, heard, valued, understood, fully expressed. All of these are basic human needs – your birthright. Your pathway to knowing your authentic sacred self.
