This Emotional Freedom Technique EFT session is for newcomers and experienced tappers. All are welcome.
For sensitive people and anyone with a trauma history, knowing how to take care of yourself emotionally and spiritually when the collective field is going bonkers can be especially challenging.
This tapping circle is designed to bring us through the freeze/fight/flight response and transform thoughts and beliefs such as: “I can’t handle this,” to feeling peaceful, grounded, centered and empowered.
Fear is as contagious as any pathogen. When we’re frozen in fear, we’re also broadcasting fear, adding to the collective fear. Having emotional and energetic boundaries with collective emotions can be challenging. This tap will help us get centered and rooted in our connection to stabilizing earth energies, and our protective helpers in the spirit realms. If you have a special guide you like to work with, invite them to join the group tap with you.
Recommended: You may want to have a box of tissues nearby, and a cup of tea or water. Avoid sugar and caffeine, as they trigger your nervous system into more anxious states. Instead, drink calming herbal teas, exercise gently and get plenty of rest. My favorite calming tea is lemon balm.
This tap will help you down-regulate your nervous system without numbing or disassociating. I’ve been tapping daily, and it’s made a world of difference in my sense of well-being. The replay will be available to repeat the tap. Feel free to share with friends and family. Children love tapping, and sometimes they pick it up just watching a parent or friend tap with the video.
I recommend you do this tap once a day until the crisis has passed or you feel strong, centered, grounded and peaceful. If you can, allow yourself 15 minutes to half an hour to rest or journal after the tap.
ABOUT NANCY KERN:
Nancy Kern is a Spiritual (but not religious) Coach and Artist in Houston TX. A graduate of Rice University, she’s worked professionally in alternative healing since 1977. Her work is rooted in her hands-on beginnings as a cofounder of the Houston Women’s Health Collective, homebirth midwife, energy healer and cranial sacral therapist. Drawing from her in-depth knowledge of energy flows in the body and the psychospiritual aspects of trauma, she’s created a gentle yet powerful way of healing through Spiritual Coaching.
In 2006, after swimming with humpback whales, Nancy was guided to expand her capacities to work remotely, shifting from hands-on bodywork to working long distance or in person, without directly touching the body. After a 15-year long apprenticeship with the Akashic Records, she began to give readings on a limited basis.
Nancy weaves together 3 primary modalities that address emotional and spiritual needs: the Akashic Records, EFT (emotional freedom technique) tapping and Flower Essences. She facilitates inner child work, healing trauma, past lives, ancestral patterns, issues with birth and death and the zone between lifetimes. A #MeToo survivor, her work is grounded in personal experience as well as years of study and training.
Her passion is helping people move thru challenging emotions and uncertain times with kindness & presence.
