Bringing Daily Habits into Alignment with Spiritual Beliefs

December 31, 2015

In fact, the majority of people who took the recent survey said they were looking for support to bring daily life habits into alignment with spiritual beliefs and heart’s desires.

I so get this. This was exactly what I was asking for when I met my spiritual teacher almost 20 years ago.

At that time, I had already healed my physical body from hypoglycemia, fibrocystic disease and ulcerative colitis. In cleansing my body, I had come to realize a mental clarity and sense of connection with the natural whole foods I was consuming, and with most of life on the planet.

Then as I was getting back to life as usual, the old habits just didn’t fit. I realized if I went back to the life I had been living, I likely would not maintain the health I had achieved, and certainly my heart would not feel at peace.

Yet, I didn’t know how to live any other way. My habits were so deeply ingrained. I could see myself behaving in ways that now felt so off. This mostly showed up in my interactions with friends and co-workers – the things I did to have fun, to fit in and feel a sense of belonging.

Social activities are largely centered around food and drinking. At the same time, if you’re an emotional eater like I was, the feelings of discomfort and fears around not fitting in can spur uncontrollable eating and drinking habits.

Not good for the physical body, mental clarity, emotional authenticity or spiritual alignment that we truly crave.

What I found for myself was that when the inside patterns got stirred, they would show themselves through my habits with food, either through the foods I craved or through the eating habits with which I consumed them – eating too fast or overeating or eating one thing then another then another, trying to find something to satisfy a feeling that could not be satisfied with food or beverage.

Truthfully, they showed up in other ways too – relationships, money patterns, self-confidence, work-life – they were just most evident to me in the food patterns.

In light of the new clarity I had gained and the sense of expanded consciousness, all of this left me wondering what it meant to be me – whoever that was!

Then came that day I found myself praying and asking for a teacher to come along and take me by the hand, to guide me through the changes I needed to make in my life to live in a way that aligned with what I felt in my heart.

When I made this prayer, which was really an asking from my deep heart to God, my teacher showed up.

Life’s patterns, habits and belief systems run so deep, I don’t think I could have made the changes without the support of someone who knows the road, who was capable of guiding and willing to get in the trenches and go to the depths with me to make the lasting transformations.

Over the years, this has become my favorite part of working with clients. I love holding the hand and the heart and plunging into the deepest place in the heart to help clients return to the truth they know inside once and for all, and then to bring that knowing out and into the habits of daily life.

This is a process of spiritual transformation that aligns you with the truth of who you are.

After the first of the year, I’ll be offering a program to help with this level of transformation. A program like this takes dedication and commitment on your part and mine. You have to be ready and willing to commit to YOU, and I am ready and committed to guide you step by step through a process that helps you heal at the core of your being.

In order to give you the support you need, I can only work with a small group of people who are really dedicated and who really want change.

If this is you, you don’t have to wait for the new year. Schedule a time to talk now. Let’s see if this is a fit for you. Click here to set up your time.

The schedule fills up really fast after the first of the year. I’m opening up times over the next few days. Go ahead and get on the calendar for a 30-minute chat.

I look forward to chatting with you.

Thank you! And have a Happy New Year!

In love, service and gratitude!
