I’m glad to be here.
It’s wonderful to be here with you again. Mary Halima Fleming is a dear friend of many years, somebody whom I love and admire. She’s somebody who has helped me dramatically with aligning my soul purpose, discovering and understanding my soul purpose, as well as my life lessons here. I’ve had several readings with her. I remember the initial reading we had and a few update sessions since then. It was much healing from this beautiful divine being that has helped me to put my life on track and stay on track with my soul purpose. When I question, “Am I doing what I’m supposed to be doing? Should I be going in this direction and putting this much energy into this?” Especially when you start hitting those roadblocks in life, I remember my reading with her and those gift marks that I have, that soul purpose that I have and what my life lessons are. It gives me that motivation and that encouragement to keep going and to stay on course.

I’m going to ask you to give us a little bit of background of how you got into soul purpose work. How did you discover that your passion is helping people to discover their soul purpose?
Sometimes our pain leads us to our purpose. Share on XLike many people, it comes out of deep pain. Sometimes our pain leads us to our purpose. My pain, when I came into the world even as a young child, probably three or five years old, I had this deep question in me. I’d asked everybody, “What’s my purpose? Why am I here? Where’s the book? Where’s the manual?” No one had an answer. I continued to ask all the way through high school, through college. The purpose is soul work, and I made the mistake of thinking that a purpose was having to do with the career. I went through many careers, not even scratching my heart, my soul or my purpose. Until one day I gave up and wrote a letter to God. God answered me and I quit Corporate America and the rest is history.
I’m going ask you to share that story about quitting Corporate America because it’s classic.
I’m learning to be gentle, but I’m all about the truth. The truth was after going through so many careers, drinking alcohol heavily and giving up, I just said, “F it.” I burned my suit and my corporate shoes in a barrel in Times Square and moved to Florida and I said, “That’s it.” Through that deep pain and through writing a letter to God, what showed up for me was a way to read the fingerprints and hands, The Hand Analysis Institute Spiritual Healing School. I started my journey and now, my passion is to give back to anybody who has that deep question, “Why am I here? What’s my purpose?” I know now that we are wired for success. Our purpose, our passions, our gifts are written in our soul and encoded in our very hands and fingerprints. We have to walk through some solo lessons, but we are wired for success. The more that we’re in alignment with our soul, our deeper self, our purpose, the happier we are and the healthier we are. We have a reason to get up in the morning and life can be an array of splendor and beauty. I’m a living example of it.
I’ve worked with a lot of clients who struggle with compulsive eating, food addiction and with a number of different ailments that show up as either behavioral or physical ailments. A lot of times it will boil down to that feeling of being out of alignment in a deep place in themselves they know they’re here to do. That’s why I invited you to talk about the healing power of purpose, setting you on course for manifesting your divine destiny because I understand how healing that can be.
That was true for me. When I look back, I know now the deep pain of why I had given up. I drank heavily. Luckily it never got in my way or it didn’t get bad, but I just basically gave up. There’s about 20% of people who have that deep question. They know they came here for a reason and a mission and for some reason, they haven’t woken up to it. They don’t remember it. Nobody helped me. The generation before me didn’t even have that as a question. I ran into an old boss from Corporate America and he asked what I’m doing now. I said, “I’m helping people with their soul purpose.” He said, “What’s that?” I’m not for everybody, but for those people, it’s in deep pain not to be in touch with your essence, with your mission, your passion, your purpose of why you came here.
Nobody’s supporting that or there’s no blame or shame. For those people and for myself, that pain was soothed by just that song, that’s all there is my friend and let’s keep dancing. Let’s bring out the booze and have a ball. I just gave up. The good news is we have the technology now in the form of hand analysis, meditation techniques, and manifestation techniques. There are many different ways to open the soul to remember what’s written there so that it can manifest effortlessly. It’s still a journey. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it can open and unfold. When you’re in alignment with it, you know the truth of who you are as you were created to be unique, then that is powerful.
We're spiritual beings having a human experience. Share on XIt is a journey worth taking. Human beings question things by nature. If you’ve ever been on that place of feeling like you’re ready to go and burn your suit and pumps in a barrel like Mary Halima was, you’ve got that question in the back of your mind going, “What would be next? What am I here to do?” We have so many things that we can feel attracted to. Then we have so many voices that say, “Yes, but? Or what if?” How do we actually know which direction to take and how to connect with our soul purpose? How do we know which one is the right one and what are the obstacles?
It’s a deep knowing. It is when you hear it and when you’re on it, it resonates deeply and rings like a bell through your whole being. I don’t know how to explain it. For me, you can get it through meditation and direct download from the Divine. We remember that we’re spiritual beings having a human experience. It’s basically soul work. There are different ways. If you have a spiritual path, that will open it for you. If you do journaling, that will open. If you have that deep question, there is an answer for sure. The secrets in the sauce are one. The life purpose hand analysis which I do, reading your soul purpose is actually in your very fingerprints. It tells you the qualities that you came, the unique, like we’re all one soul.
That’s the unity, we’re all one soul but we each have a specific beautiful facet of the one big diamond that we’re here to express. Only we can express its specific qualities like leadership, healing, art, and creativity. There are different qualities and you get to design it on how you want to express it. When you are in alignment with it and what most people tell me is when we do the soul purpose readings is that I always secretly knew it. It’s like, “I always knew it but now I believe it because it’s written in my soul. It’s written in my hands and my fingerprints.” It resonates deeply.
I was asking that as a leading question, the hand analysis. I know that is only the beginning of what you do. For me, the hand analysis reading was a place inside of me that always knew it. There were 20,000 layers on top of that that questioned and kept me from acting on it and aligning with it. When I had the hand analysis reading and you told me what my life lessons were, what are my soul purpose, what are my gift marks, and all this wonderful stuff that was encoded uniquely for me in the lines of my hand, the fingerprints of my hand. When I heard that, that’s when I had the affirmation and somehow magically all of the tumblers in the lock lined up and it just opened me to my path.
It placed me right on the path. I was like, “This is it and I know it.” It helps to have something like that, that you can have as an affirmation. What Mary Halima is reading is there is specifically what is written in your fingerprints and in your hands. When she gives you that, you can align with that. For me and I know for thousands of people that you’ve worked with, it will help to affirm that place inside of you that you may have been denying for a long time. When you can have that affirmation and plant your feet on the ground and say, “This is me, this feels so right.” That is going to make a huge world of difference in helping you to trust yourself, believe in yourself, give yourself permission to move forward and give you some guidance along the way. Can you say a little bit more about that piece? I know that’s the tip of the iceberg, then there’s a lot to do with healing all those 20,000 layers that sit on top of it.
People tell me that it rings in your soul. When you hear the truth of who you are, it’s a deep knowing beyond the brain. The brain doesn’t know this. It’s encoded in the soul. It’s not in your brain. It helps alleviate the, “Maybe my ego’s getting carried away,” “Who? Me? Who am I to?” All that crazy stuff that our mind gets caught up with. When you have that deep soul click knowing inside, it’s something that you can show up to that becomes your pole. It sets you on course beholding the highest vision of what’s possible for you. The journey is taking action, getting support. Also either you keep walking your spiritual path or walking through your assigned soul lessons that are the exact medicine that each of us needs to support opening our life purpose. It’s the catalyst for jumpstarting our purpose to its highest and best. It can always expand more. There’s always more to express and it gets better and better, easier and easier.
Can you give an example of what a life purpose and soul lessons might sound like in a reading?
There’s a common thread because God, spirit, the universe, the angels send me people with certain themes because it matches my theme and my passion. Especially right now where we are in this time on Earth there are a lot of messengers, a lot of healers, a lot of writers, speakers and change makers in here to help the planet right now with ascension. Those people tend to have a big life purpose in the spotlight and affecting many people and affecting the collective. Interestingly enough, the most common life solo lesson that they’re here to work on is either one of two things. Number one, working on their issues around low self-worth, guilt, shame and unworthiness. The other one is about opening up your emotional authenticity so that they can open their passion and be authentically themselves.
A lot of times people overly give because of deep feelings of unworthiness. Share on XThe reason they get the life lesson of low self-worth is that as they learn to love themselves, know and heal thousands of years of misbeliefs about who we are and the truth of who they are. Then they don’t make the mistake of trying to earn their worthiness by overly giving and getting worn out, getting burned out, just because they’ve tried to earn their worthiness. The training is you are worthy. When God created you, you are a divine representative of God on this Earth to own your sovereignty. God takes care of everybody. It’s not your job, so you don’t have to over give. You deliver your message. You don’t have to make sure that they learn their lessons.
It’s the exact medicine. You’re safe in delivering your purpose through whatever expression you’re doing it. If you’ve got to be a famous singer, you want to be mostly authentic. You’re not just singing technically perfect like I have every single note exactly right. If you are an entertainer and a famous rock star, you don’t want to get burnt out. You’re learning how to self-care. It’s like exactly whatever party needs to be safe so that it’s always a balance between you giving and you receiving.
I heard freedom of self-expression and balance with self-care so that you’re not over giving, but you’re also receiving and taking care of yourself.
A lot of times people overly give because of deep feelings of unworthiness. That unworthiness is one of my passionate things. I like to help people get over it because this has been a 2,000 to 5,000 years of misbeliefs in the collective consciousness. Anytime you as an individual are helping to clean that deep soul misbelief that’s in the DNA, the religion, and the ancestral memory, you are actually helping the soul of humanity rise to be the true lights that we are. That’s how we’re serving. As in serving ourselves, we’re helping to serve the soul of humanity. This is a soul show, so we’re going to go deep.
One of your phrases is that we’re at Earth University for Souls. This is a soul show. Thank you for that because it’s Self-Care for the Soul. One of the missions is to really tie together how doing the individual work can help with the healing, the soul of humanity and uplifting the mass consciousness as well as our connection with the source and the connection with Earth. We’re here to bridge all of that and help to evolve as one by doing our own inner work. We’re here to being true to letting our individual facet of the diamond shine so that the entire diamond can have its full sparkle and full expression. I want to go back to what you said about healing. You mentioned shame and unworthiness. Those are two factors that are very key for what I’ve been working with people lately. I know a passion of yours is helping people to learn to speak their truth. Can you say more about how you do that? How do you focus on that? Why do you feel that is important to this work?
That’s all we have. Right now, it’s needed on Earth. I come from a Sufi tradition. I’m a student of Sufism. We are the divine representatives of God on this Earth. Each of us are spiritual beings waking up to remember the truth of who we are. The two master qualities of the divine are truth and love. If we can speak our truth, we’re helping other people to find their truth. The important thing is to do it always with love, love for ourselves and love for others. The truth will set us free. It’s not a small thing and it takes a lot of courage these days, especially piercing the density of the darkness right now and all we have is the truth of who we are and our sovereignty as unique beings.
I have my purpose in my hand analysis which is leader healer and all those things, but when I go to the Divine and ask, “Who do you say I am?” I always get, “Speak the truth.” I don’t know why or how it’s so important, but all I know that’s all I can do. I love it when other people do. I am not sure it’s for everyone. I think we’re the pioneers right now. As we step out, tell our truth and not hide what’s true for us is true for all of us. By us speaking it, it gives other people permission as really what I believe have seen and experienced.
I can piggyback on that with what I’ve seen and learned in the project that I’ve been working with, the While We Were Silent Project. All of our dysfunction, it subsisted, it thrives in isolation and in being hidden. When we bring things to light, it brings it to a place where we can have a greater awareness of it ourselves and a greater acceptance. It leads to that self-love, self-compassion, and self-acceptance which gives us the opportunity to heal it more easily within ourselves. It does open up that place where others can see, “I’m not alone.” There is someone else out there who struggles just like me and whether we’re connected or not, there’s a sense of community there and not being alone. It does give permission. We can see that with the #MeToo Movement. How that opened the door for so many people who were struggling in isolation, feeling alone to come together through virtual community, to bring our voices together and begin to speak our stories, our truths and come into self-acceptance, self-compassion, self-love and self-healing.
It is the healing power of speaking the truth. It takes courage, it takes heart and with the pioneers, this is what’s going to change. There’s a disclosure, there’s the #MeToo Movement. It definitely helped the LGBT community. People were suffering alone thinking that they were the only ones on the planet. Now, we find there’s a whole community. The same thing with the #MeToo and just all of it. As people come out, the whistleblowers are coming out and people are coming out. This is the time for telling the truth, no more hidden things. When it’s hidden, it can’t be healed but when it’s out, we speak it. Somebody else hears us and witnesses it. There is nothing more powerful. That’s how we heal.
Our DNA can be turned on and turned off. It's clean. Nothing is ever set in stone. Share on XYou talked about helping people find their purpose, then the soul lessons would be healing the unworthiness and the things that keep us from stepping into purpose. Can you tell us about how you help people to heal?
Once we’ve done a reading and we mapped out your soul blueprint, the good news is you’ve got your soul purpose. You don’t have to learn it. You can go to school, fine tune it and find a way to express it. If you’re a healer, there are 50 million ways to be a healer. You get to choose how you want to do it. The success, the joy and what will help it expand faster is working on our soul lessons of which is the part of our soul that is not so great at. We have our soul purpose, that’s the easy part. The soul lessons are the exact medicine we need to support the purpose. Some people come in to learn healthy boundary issues and they might have been abused or had their boundaries violated, but it wasn’t a punishment. It was saying, “You had to experience this because now you have to have healthy boundaries. You’re going to work on that.”
Once the universe, the angels see, “You have your boundary. You’re safe now.” Let us open the doors wide to your purpose as a speaker, as a teacher, as a healer or whatever you’re going to be doing because now we know you’re safe. You’re not going to give it away. You’re not going to get taken advantage of. You’re safe. You feel good and you can go out. You can be as big as you’re meant to be. Not everybody’s meant to be big. Some people’s purpose at some point in their life, certainly for a chapter is to be a mom or to take care of their parents, but it’s always the soul lesson that leads us to the biggest manifestation of our purpose. It’s for our own good.
The one way where I see this can be helpful is if you’re feeling like life has dealt you a bad hand, a lot of people will come in with the karma. One of the people that I interviewed in While We Were Silent was from Vietnam. In her culture, karma is a significant factor. When she met with trauma, it was brought to her that, “This is your karma.”
This is something that’s important. For me, what our soul is 70,000 times bigger than our physical body. Through the DNA, our soul carries ancestral information, which some people call karma, some people called past lives, however you want to call it. Our soul is carrying a certain packet to clean. It’s not a punishment, but we travel in soul groups. For example, if I come in to learn a particular soul lesson, God, the creator or however you want to say it, is going to place me into a soul group where that is the lesson that we’re all commonly used learning. It’s all a set up as an assignment. We each have our packet to clean for our own soul, for the group soul of family, gender, religion, ethnic background, each of that has a soul purpose and a soul lesson.
We have our individual and group one. In cleaning our own soul lesson, it cleans backwards and forwards, all the generations behind and forward. This is ultimately how we clean the soul of humanity. It’s ultimately a gift for us. That’s not why we’re doing it, but it’s what we need for our life purpose in our joy, our happiness and health to open. It can be healed. It’s not set in stone. Just because your family got cancer doesn’t mean you’re going to have cancer. You may have the same soul lesson on a spiritual level that caused cancer. That is if cancer you didn’t get it through all the chemicals they’re giving us.
That’s perfect because a lot of times when somebody hears, “That’s your karma,” they think that’s because you or somebody did something bad in a previous life, you’re paying for something that you did wrong, this is a punishment and this is payback thing. I love the way that you described it and you explained it. Whenever I feel the sense of that I am moving through something big that is a blanket over mass consciousness that needs to be healed, I feel like it’s an honor to go through it to heal this part that I know is going to be helping my ancestors, past generations, and future generations. That’s much different from what can sometimes come through that message of, “It’s your karma,” as in, “It’s your fault.” That blame thing. It has a completely different light in that way.
It’s not a punishment and our DNA is starting to know now. Our DNA can be turned on, turned off. It’s clean, nothing is ever set in stone. As we do our own work in our microcosmic world, it always is helping the soul of humanity because we are all one soul and that’s what people forget. Eventually, some people say 8%, some people say 13%, I don’t know what the percentage is. There becomes a tipping point if enough of us are doing our work and holding the light and healing and what we can be healed now because we have the technology and the light is amping up for us to do it, we are all rising together. It’s such a beautiful time to be on earth right now that we do have these tools. We’re the ones we’re waiting for.
If you’re hearing this and thinking, “13%, 18%, that’s a lot of people. How can I possibly make a difference?” When we do our work, those people in our soul group, as well as those people in our families and our communities around us, there is a ripple energetically that moves out. Mary Halima said, “Your soul is 70,000 times bigger than your body.” There was a ripple from you, from a light being that you are that whether it ever becomes conscious or not, what you carry and what shines through you, what moves through you ripples into the touches the consciousness of people around you. While doing your work is really more than just you doing your work. When each one of us steps up, we get to that 13% or 18% a lot faster than we might even realize.
It’s happening fast and that’s not why we’re doing, but it is the side benefit. I liken it to the busy bees. They’re not going out like, “I’ve got to save humanity. Let me go do it. I’ve got to go cross-pollinate and make sure everybody eats.” The bees are being bees. They’re being a busy bee. They’re going out to eat and look at all the beautiful flowers and just going from here to there. The side benefit is they are cross-pollinating so that we can eat. I don’t why bees sting but I don’t think they’re going out thinking, “I’ve got to do this and I have a burden.” Follow your passion, follow what you’re programmed for. We’re all wired for success and our success is what we love to do. Our purpose is what we love to do. It’s not something like, “I have my purpose.” It’s like, “This is what I love to do and that I’m getting paid for it. Life is great.” It’s wonderful.
That’s where those opportunities for healing the unworthiness pieces continue to ripple through as you’re moving into your life purpose. I know a lot of entrepreneurs will go into their dream job and then it feels hard. I’ve got fifteen visuals of myself in ways where I’ve made it hard for myself because of not aligning with the worthiness piece or with having that unworthiness creep in and thinking, “I’ve got to do this to make this work. I’ve got to do this to earn it. I’ve gotten to this to make it worthy of.”
We’ve been slimed. Took the red pill. We are overcoming thousands of years of misbeliefs about who we are. We are not born with the original sin. We are not being punished by being here on this planet. We chose to come here as great, big, beautiful spiritual beings. The game is just to wake up and remember.
You touched on one of my favorite topics. Another one about not being born with the original sin. A lot of people right now are going, “That’s what I learned.” Whether you’re still aligned with your religion that taught you that or not, that it still permeates our consciousness of this culture that we were born with original sin. Can you say more about why you say we’re not?
We’re just not, it’s the truth. It’s like, “What do you mean?” There’s no why or what about it. We are divine representatives of the divine on this earth. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. God doesn’t make mistakes. I’m not blaming or shaming, but there have been thousands of years of the darkness saying who are not to keep us down, to keep us slaves. I’m going to quote Buckminster Fuller because I know we’re coming into time, “Each of us is born with the perfect gift to give the world. When each of us is freed up to give the gift that is uniquely ours to give, the world will be in total harmony.” This is the truth.
