Purpose and Fulfillment

You are uniquely designed with a purpose that, when realized, will bring you fulfillment. And as Divine orchestration would have it, that purpose is near you, waiting for you to realize it.

You are a reflection of Divine Light.
You are an expression of Divine Unconditional Love.
You are a manifestation of Divine Beauty.

Your body is a vessel through which Spirit can express Itself into the physical material realm. Through your living breathing conduit, you bring an aspect of Source to Light.

Many spectrums of light that make up a complete picture of what the Divine wants to show us of Itself. Each of us brings a shade of color, and all are needed to know the completion. Yet, in human form, it’s really hard, if not impossible, to see the whole thing.

It’s so much bigger than we are, and bigger than what we can see – definitely bigger than what we can see with human eyes – and even bigger than we can see with the eye of the heart.

Though the way to see beyond what the senses can perceive is through the heart.

The poet Rumi says, “You are not a drop in the ocean, you are the ocean in a drop.” Through the heart, you contain all and can know all – yet humanity covers over the ability to realize the complete knowing.

Similarly, my teacher, Shaykh Muhammad al-Jamal, said, “You think you are a small star when in fact you contain the whole universe.”

By showing up and allowing Source to manifest and express Itself through you, together with seeing the manifestation of the Divine in everything around you, we come to know the Divine Reality.

We are not separate – we are one heart, one love.
