The school of spiritual healing that I work with is publishing a book called, A Drop in the Ocean of Love: Ancient Wisdom for Living a Divinely-Guided Life.
It’s a compilation of personal stories from faculty and staff along with teachings that have transformed our lives. I’m excited to contribute my story of Four Lessons I Learned on the Journey to Becoming a Woman.
—
Our hope is that you can find a reflection of yourself in our stories, and you can find healing and wisdom for your heart and soul. These are universal stories from a journey to find Truth.
Here’s a brief intro/overview of my story:
I’m forever grateful for a spontaneous spiritual awakening which changed my life, and eventually led me to study with a spiritual teacher and guide. Over almost 20 years of guidance and healing, he made it his mission to teach me the truth of what it means to be a divine being in this physical body and physical realm.
He taught me to know my truth with certainty down to the core of my bones, to respect myself and command respect for myself from others. These first 2 lessons are universal.
Then I began to learn the sacred reality of the feminine, who and what the woman was created to be. The woman is a holy being that bridges the world of the spirit with the world of the physical. She carries the wisdom of earth and spirit, a nurturer and protector of life with true power beyond worldly physical strength. She is a knower and connector of the subtle realms, a bridge to Source. And so much more…
We each carry a sacred light inside. It’s the true core of our existence, the light that is one flame with the Divine Light of creation.
Love your self, your inner feminine, your mother, your sisters, your daughters. Each of us is sacred.
Stay tuned. We expect to have the book available April 1st. I’ll let you know when you can get the full deal. Many beautiful, powerful stories are coming together within these pages!
Meanwhile, here’s a video of a powerful speech from last weekend’s women’s march in Orlando about the journey of becoming a woman in today’s world. It’s a poem – slam poetry – a conversation between daughter and mother. It really sums up what the Women’s March was about for me.
Thanks to all the women and men who came together to speak up for rights for every human being to be treated with decency and respect, regardless of gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, country of origin, social status, ability or any other distinction we might use to classify ourselves. We are one! One Light. One Love!
