This might be jumping the gun a bit, but I’m excited to give you a little peak into what the book will include. If you’ve taken the I Love My Guts class, it should sound familiar…
—
They are in each other all along.”
~Jalal id-din Rumi, Sufi poet
You can think of I Love My Guts as a love story – soul mates separated at birth, miserable apart yet not realizing the cause of their misery. Not even recognizing they are separated from one so close. Searching everywhere for solutions to their plight, not realizing what they’ve been missing has been in them all along.
So, how do you meet the lover within? Love is built on relationship, on connection and trust.
Love is what heals. In order to heal your guts and your body, you must develop a relationship – a healthy connection and trust between your conscious ego self, your incredibly wise physical body and your divine spirit.
If you are experiencing unrest, discomfort or dis-ease in your digestive system, or anywhere in your body, there is a disconnect in your relationships. In order to find true healing, you must find and repair the disconnects and build a healthy relationship of love, connection and trust. This is true of any relationship, and the most important relationship you have is the relationship with yourself.
We could say that I Love My Guts is for almost every human alive today. The state of disconnect is so common, it’s an unconscious collective norm. However, you’re likely drawn to this book if you are among the one in three people experiencing some level of discomfort and disease in your digestive tract, or among the one in three who eats as a way of managing stress, or among the 30 million adults (in the US alone) who suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder, or among the majority (of Americans) who are overweight or struggling with Type 2 diabetes. And the list goes on…. These statistics are true in the United States, yet other countries report similar numbers.
Mostly, I Love My Guts is for you if you want a path to loving yourself unconditionally – all of you – and living your life in a way that recognizes, acknowledges, loves, honors, respects and supports your innate wisdom and your true essence as one.
Repairing the Disconnects in Your Inner Relationships:
There are three major disconnects that are key to digestive dysfunction that are not being considered in the treatment of dis-ease. These issues are at the root of all dysfunction and are evident in the state of humanity in this day and time. In other words, these disconnects are reflected throughout the world on many levels – and if we want to see a world of love, harmony and hope, we must begin to heal ourselves on the inside – literally.
The first disconnect is the lack, or absence, of trust in the natural order and flow of the Universe – we could call this a disconnect from God. This is the basis of Section 1 of this book.
Section 1 explains how this disconnect is a natural and necessary part of our spiritual journey on planet earth and provides insight into the purpose and wisdom for our manifestation into physical bodies.
The second disconnect is the disconnect between mind, heart and belly. Section 2 gives an understanding of the role of the mind, heart and innate wisdom of the gut and describes how this separation naturally occurs during the early years of our lives.
This section gives an explanation of how these parts of ourselves can integrate to help us find healing for the body, mind and heart, and help the spirit navigate its journey to return home to the conscious knowing of its connection to Unconditional Love while still present in physical form.
The third disconnect is evident in the eating habits we’ve developed – a disconnect between our habits and choices with food and what the body truly needs in order to support the its natural physiological functioning according to the body’s own innate wisdom.
Section 3 guides us on a journey to:
- Explore the connection of the conscious self to the physical body
- Develop a high-level understanding of what the physical organs do
- Engender love and appreciation for the miracle of the physiology and neurology of the physical body
- Discover and release blocks to bring about healing and connection between the conscious self and the physical body
- Move through the layers of the human-spirit being to realize how it reflects God’s wisdom and how the process of healing and re-connection walks us closer to the knowing of God’s Essence within us, which is our true nature.
Finally, Section 4 of the book helps you bring what you’ve learned and received – ingested and assimilated – into a plan for living your day-to-day life from within your new relationship –connected in body, mind, heart, gut and spirit. This section guides you through developing a vision of how your life looks when you are making choices as an integrated partner with all of the parts of you – honoring the commitment you make to yourself as you mend your relationship and choose to evolve as one integrated being.
What I hope you will receive from I Love My Guts
My hope and prayer for you in writing I Love My Guts is that you will come to know how beautiful you are as you are right now. The perfection is now in this moment, and in the next moment, and the next… A new perfection in an emerging creation evolves in every moment. You are a manifestation of spirit, an expression of Love and a reflection of Light, waiting to be known, worthy of being seen, heard and understood in every moment.
My prayer for you is that you come to acknowledge yourself as you are and love yourself in your perfection every moment of every day. May you marvel at the wonders of creation, even the creation of yourself, and embrace what you see as a gift and a teaching from love for you and for the evolution of your soul.
There are no mistakes – only a perfection we may not understand through human perception, the perfection of the One.
Stay tuned.
