I moved in with my father after his wife passed away 7 years ago. He was 94 years young at the time and struggling with significant health challenges. In fact, the doctor had said that Christmas would likely be his last.

He is now 101 years young, nearing 102. I’ve gotten more than I expected in many ways. This has been the most special time of my life. I’ve received so many blessings and learned so many lessons.

During the month of June, in honor of Father’s Day, I’ll be sharing some of these lessons and blessings that can help us in our relationships with our parents, honoring our elderly, and in our personal growth.
