This month in the Community for Conscious Living, we have been remembering Mildred Lisette Norman, the Peace Pilgrim, and the legacy of inspiration she left behind.
Her life was dedicated to spreading the message of peace. She walked well over 25,000 miles across the US, Canada, and Mexico spreading joy, giving hope, and changing lives.
One of her many inspiring quotes is:
“When enough of us find inner peace,
our institutions will become peaceful
and there will be no more occasion for war.”
