Finding Mercy in Unexpected Places
Mercy is everywhere, even in our pain, compulsions, addictions, relationships – everywhere! But sometimes it’s not so easy to see. This webinar, sponsored by our friends at Sufi Center Minnesota, presents insights on how to find Divine Mercy and how to receive it in your heart and your life.
I’m grateful to the Sufi Center Minnesota for the opportunity to present to their community and to share this with you.

About my background and history with Sufism
I’ve been a part of the Shadhiliyya Sufi Community for over 20 years. I studied with Sidi Shaykh Muhammad al-Jamal ar-Rafa’i ash-Shadhuli, a Sufi Master and Guide from Jerusalem. It is from him that I learned healing and much of what I share with you through my Sunday morning Prayer & Healing Circles and various programs.
Through many initiations with my teacher, I became what is called a Muqaddim Murabbi in the Shadhiliyya Sufi Order. I earned a Masters of Divinity in Spiritual Healing & Counseling from the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism (USHS), a school where I served as Operations Director from 2000-2008 and as University Relations Manager from 2015-2017.
My private practice, Joyfully Living Wellness, serves a 4-part mission: to guide people
- to honor their relationship with food and their bodies,
- to heal past pain and trauma,
- to deepen their spiritual connections
- and to live in harmony with the planet.
Through my latest book and accompanying course, Bridging the GAPS: A Journey to the Center of Yourself, I guide women to access and embody their Sacred Feminine Essence and hold the energy of the true feminine that is needed for the healing of humanity and the planet. This is a must for women especially now as we move into the new decade of 2020.
