The Significance of the Sacred Feminine in Healing Our World Now

The Sacred Feminine energy is paramount in guiding the collective back to the Light of Peace and Unity. In the current cultural state, the feminine has not been valued for its true nature, for what it contains and provides, or for its vital role in personal and spiritual evolution. The Sacred Feminine is the Sacred Temple to which we return to reconnect and commune with Source.

Following is a summary of points –

Every human being has his/her individual unique healing journey.

However, the pathway of the journey is the same – we come in to this material plane as beings of light, immersed in unconditional love and knowing our connection with All That Is.

Though we maintain this connection, we soon begin to forget it, and we begin to identify with our physical bodies and how we perceive and relate to our surroundings.

Our bodies constantly give us messages about how our knowing selves relate to the material world through the expansion and contraction of the heart (our feelings) and the sensations of the body (innate neurological and energetic responses). Our minds then interpret the information and make decisions about the world – our beliefs, coping strategies, defense mechanisms, survival tactics – how to be in relationships and our value in life.

The process of forgetting and establishing an identity based on the physical self and material realm causes us to experience a sense of separation from self and from Source.

When the pain of separation gets to a level of discomfort that we can no longer ignore, the pain inside which is the inner voice of truth calls out to us. It becomes a beacon which guides us home – home to the center of ourselves. This is healing. The return and conscious reconnection with the center of Truth is the transformational healing.

The individual healing journey is mirrored in the collective journey.

Our humanity is created from Light. All the knowing of Source was breathed into the collective of the human – and all of creation. Only the human being goes on the journey of forgetting – the journey of free will.

As a collective on our collective cultural and societal pathways of forgetting, we have strayed far from the Light of Unity from which we came. However, on a global scale we are coming to a critical point – a point of discomfort that is too severe to ignore.

As a collective, we are faced with many issues that we must confront within ourselves for the sake of the greater good. The objectification of women highlighted in the eruption of the #metoo movement, racial divides, socio-economic injustices, escalating species extinction, pollution of our air and water, depletion of soil, climate change. We have to connect with our inner truths and bring our hearts and actions into alignment with what we know and who we are at the core or we may face our own extinction.

As a collective, it’s time to turn around, to make the journey back home to the knowing of truth that leads to the Light of Unity.

The Sacred Feminine energy is paramount in guiding the collective back to this Light of Unity.

Archetypically speaking, the feminine is the state of being, that which contains all the parts of the whole in a unified state. The masculine is the state of moving out and doing.

The masculine must return home to the feminine to reconnect, replenish, rejuvenate, to reconvene with Source energy and rest in the knowing of Self.

On a personal level, this is daily self-care – meditation, being in nature, honoring our body wisdom as a part of nature, listening to our hearts. This is the pathway of the individual healing journey. And it is the pathway of the healing of collective consciousness.

We have lived for centuries in a primarily masculine state – the state of going out and doing. The patriarchal societies have valued doing, accomplishments, competition, acquisitions, hierarchy. In and of themselves, these are not bad things. However, they must be balanced with the equally valuable feminine state of being.

In the current cultural state, the feminine has not been valued for its true nature, for what it contains and provides, or for its vital role in personal and spiritual evolution.

In fact, the biblical archetypes of Eve and Lilith, and Adam too, have influenced our pictures of what feminine should look like. They have contributed to the impossible opposing standards constantly portrayed in feminine characters and role models – the dichotomy of the virgin-whore.

Lilith is known for her strength, power and refusal to engage in the male-dominant female-submissive game. However, she is demonized as the evil whore who left the Garden, the overtly sexual dominatrix who lay with demons.

Eve, the mother of all humankind, is known for her weakness, giving into temptation, tempting Adam and dooming all of humankind to a life of struggle. Her fall paves the pathway on which women must be submissive to men.

I mentioned several times in the video – I do not believe the interpretation of the story of Adam & Eve that is common in our US Christian culture. There are more complete translations as well as metaphysical and mystical explanations for that story that actually reveal the sacredness of the feminine. These teachings honor women. They help us reconcile our conflicts in the world of multiplicity and return to Unity.

While we struggle individually and collectively with dichotomy of the Lilith-Eve conflict, or in modern times the virgin-whore conflict, the truth is we each contain both of these, and Adam too. We are Lilith. We are Eve. We are Adam. Healing comes when we acknowledge the parts of ourselves and reconcile the differences inside to bring them into a state of inner harmony and unity.

I’ve met a number of women recently who are beyond angry and not willing to take it any more. Many of them ready to overthrow the Eve archetype for the Lilith archetype. This awareness and reaction is a first step to healing.

The anger is a catalyst for us to break through the old pictures and paradigms and access the strength from the core of our bellies, to clear out the old and make way for a powerful state of being – a beingness of power and strength that has no opponent – that just IS.

As women, we need to do this en masse in order to hold the space for the evolution of our collective. This isn’t something someone can do for you. You can be guided, but you have to do it for yourself – to access your own strength, to embody your power, to hold the space of the Sacred Feminine energy in love and communion with the Light of Source.

This is what we need for our personal healing, and this is what the world needs to make its return to harmony and peace.

We can’t wait for our patriarchal societies to acknowledge and make space for women to step into roles and compete with our masculine energy. This is a different form of power, accessible through a different avenue.

And we don’t need to wait for anyone else to understand it or grant permission. We have the opportunity and the knowledge to access it for ourselves.

This is the Journey to the Center of Yourself. This is the way home to access, hold and operate from the Sacred Feminine Essence.
