Last Sunday’s broadcast revealed the Number One Myth common in the Self-Healing world – the mind has the power to heal.
The truth is, the mind is not born with the knowing it contains. Its thoughts and beliefs are constructed based on observations of a world of multiplicity and conditions.
Truth is a divine existence of one love, an unconditional love, from a Pre-Existent Source that expresses Itself through every drop of existence. The full all-encompassing expression is beyond what the mind can comprehend.
—
The heart is a portal to access an infinite universe of divine truths. The heart knows the one unconditional love, and it has the ability to sense love, safety and truth from this vantage point.
The heart contains a doorway that opens and closes according to what it senses in its environment. If the environment reflects the unconditional love, the heart opens. If the environment is not aligned with love, safety and truth, the heart constricts.
The heart communicates its sensory information to us through emotions, which can be uncomfortable. Most of us have learned to stifle the emotions or attempt to control them, because we’ve learned that it’s not okay to feel.
The role of the mind is to protect us and keep us safe on this earth journey. The mind learns from the responses of the heart.
Based on whether the door of the heart expands or constricts in a given situation, the mind gathers information and sets up belief systems, defense mechanisms and coping strategies to help us navigate our way through the material world. The mind is the protector.
Healing from the mind can at best trade up on beliefs and strategies. The mind has limits that the heart does not have.
Healing from the heart can return us to the conscious knowing of connection with unconditional love, which is more like subsistence in divine love. The truth is, we are never separate. We are one with all of existence.
When we know this on a conscious level with every fiber and cell of our being, we cannot live in any way that harms another being, because we know that if we harm another, we are harming ourselves.
This information set the framework for last Sunday’s meditation. We called on the highest vibrations of divine light, unconditional love and eternal compassion. We breathed them into our hearts to remind us on the subconscious and conscious levels of the divine knowings we carry inside us at all times – the truth of our existence.
This meditation is available on the website through Saturday, September 10th. You can click here to access the video and download the audio.
This coming Sunday, we’ll be working with a mantra that will help you consciously embody the light, love and beauty that you are so you can witness the divine presence in yourself, in others and in all of existence.
If we want to realize a world of peace and harmony, we must understand the truth of our existence, and we must transform the subconscious patterns that hold us in separation from love. We must believe without a doubt in the possibility of living in peace.
Cleaning the heart of its stifled emotional blocks and transforming the subconscious and conscious knowings to align with the divine truths that reside within the heart will eliminate doubts so we can believe with certainty in the possibility of peace.
It starts with us, and each of us must do our part to transform separation into unity so that we can become the change we wish to see in the world.
